Baked Salmon Steaks

< 1 lb salmon steak
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 c milk
salt/pepper to taste
1/4 c fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped chives or onion greens
1/4 c white wine
paprika
butter
Place salmon in a buttered baking dish.
In a small-medium saucepan, melt 2 tbsp butter on med. Stir in flour, and salt/pepper. Gradually add milk.
Stir and cook until thickened. Then add lemon juice, chives, and wine.
Pour sauce over steaks, dot with butter. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 400 degrees (375 our oven) for 25-30 minutes (20 minutes our oven was plenty).
