Shallot Bread
Ingredients 1.5 cups unbleached white flour 0.5 cups whole wheat pastry flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 0.5 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 cup low-fat plain yogurt/ sour cream 1/2 cup minced shallots/scallions/green onions 1 tablespoon fresh dill 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Method 1. Heat Oven to 400 F. 2. Combine white and whole flouers, baking powder, salt and mix. 3. In another bowl mix oil, yoghurt, scallions, dill and pepper. 4. Combine mixtures and mix quickly to form homogenous dough. 5. Roll out to 3/4" circle and cut into 8 wedges 6. Bake on a greased tray for 20 minutes. |
