Toasted Pecan Orange Brownie Ingredients A Candied Orange 1. 1 large orange sliced thinly. 2. 1/2 cup water 3. 2/3 cup sugar B Brownie 1. 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate 2. 12 tablespoons butter 3. 3/4 cup of flour 4. 3 tablespoons of cocoa 5. 1.5 cups of sugar 6. 3 large eggs 7. 3/4 teaspoon vanilla 8. 2 cups of chopped pecans, toasted. C Glaze 1. 3 ounces semisweet chocolate. 2. 1 ounce of unsweetened chocolate. 3. 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Recipe A Candied orange 1. Put orange and water in a heavy saucepan and bring to the boil. Simmer for 3 minutes 2. Add sugar and stir until the mixtures thickens and becomes shiny (5-10 minutes). Remove from heat and allow to cool for 15 to 20 minutes. 3. Drain mixture, reserve syrup and chop orange slices in mixer. B Brownie. 1. Heat oven to 325F and preline 8-inch baking pan with paper. 2. Melt butter and chocolate together. Remove saucepan from top and allow to cool. 3. Sift flour and cocoa together. 4. Put sugar and eggs in bowl and beat for 3 minutes. 5. Add vanilla. 6. Add flour and mix until blended. 7. Add chocolate mixture slowly and blend. 8. Fold in nuts and orange. 9. Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Cook until yields moist crumbs. C Glaze 1.
